Steak of the Sea

Recently I’ve started to shop for my proteins at King’s in Hoboken since the selection at Shoprite is less than desirable. One of my go-to’s is their wild caught tuna steak. It’s extremely tasty, not fishy at all and the protein to fat ratio is outstanding. With my heavy cast-iron skillet, I grill on both sides and then throw in the oven for only 2-3 minutes. I usually use my mother’s microwave trick for baking a potato quickly but King’s also has these steam bags of Yukon and Red potatoes so I decided to give that a go and wasn’t disappointed. The potatoes were perfectly cooked on the inside and with just salt, olive oil and parsley or dried chives, we’re good to go. Add my new personal favorite, pea shoots and their brand of alfalfa sprouts which are much more tasty than Shoprite’s and we have the perfect meal to lead me into the weekend.
